Hey, everyone!
I thought I’d share one of my favorite spots in Malaysia—Colmar Tropicale. It’s this beautiful French-themed village tucked away in Bukit Tinggi, and honestly, it holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been here a couple of times, but my most cherished visit was with my late mother. Every time I return, it brings back such warm memories, and I think that’s why this place feels so magical to me.
For those who aren’t familiar with it, Colmar Tropicale is designed to look like a quaint village from Alsace, France. Now, I’ve never been to the actual Colmar (yet! 😁), but this little spot in Malaysia does a great job at capturing that European charm. The colorful half-timbered buildings, cobblestone streets, and castle-like entrance make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. It’s one of those places that instantly lifts your mood and makes for a perfect escape from the city.
When I visited with my mom, we spent hours just strolling through the village, taking in the architecture, the little fountains, and the overall peaceful vibe. I can still remember how much we enjoyed just sitting at one of the cafés, sipping tea and people-watching. It’s funny how a place can create such lasting memories, right? Even now, every time I come back, I can almost hear our conversations echoing in the air.
Apart from the lovely French vibes, there’s actually so much to do here. One of my favorite spots nearby is the Japanese Tea Garden, which is such a calming place to explore. I love how you can experience both French and Japanese cultures in one trip! And if you’re an animal lover, there’s the Rabbit Farm close by—perfect for a little fun break if you’re with family or friends.
Of course, the village itself is super photogenic. Whether you’re into photography or just love capturing moments for Instagram, Colmar Tropicale won’t disappoint. The colors of the buildings are so vibrant, and every corner has its own unique charm. Trust me, you’ll want to take pictures of everything.
If you’re thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it, especially if you want a relaxing day out with beautiful scenery and a touch of Europe. Whether you’re with family, friends, or even on a solo trip, Colmar Tropicale has something for everyone. For me, it’s not just about the picturesque setting, but the memories I’ve made here, especially with my mom.
So, if you haven’t been, add this to your list! And if you have, I’d love to hear your favorite part. 😊
